A multidisciplinary creative who likes to lead with integrity and honesty in a world full of inspiration and information.
I think the above sentence describes me rather well.
I love to observe and listen, make connections and look for meaning within the context of a project or situation. Through my passion for form, language, data, AI, nature and civil rights I aim to tackle complex issues with idiosyncratic, ethical concepts. With and for people.
I’m curious as to what makes other people tick, what inspires them, what moves them. With compassion, dedication and care I like to keep growing.
I’m a writer and illustrator born and bred in the Netherlands where I currently still reside. I enjoy writing, sketching, photography and long bike rides. Preferably days at a time, with everything I need strapped to my bicycle.

I’ve spent most of my working life in academia and in design and development. I’ve also worked with editorial design and have written for websites and print magazines. Even though my academic path took me from degrees and research in Public Administration to International Relations, Asian Studies and eGovernment Infrastructure, the need for creative expression was ever present. It was a path that eventually led me to working as a recruiter in the design sector. A refreshing and eye opening social experience. After a few years however, I once again picked up my brush and pen as a way of a parallel creative outlet next to my career in Data Protection & Ethics.

When I’m not working with data or client work, I spend my time on getting lost along new paths and experiences, preferably with good company. I think experiences are better when shared.
I like to keep busy. And inspired.
